Spring is a great time to get out and explore the Natchez Trace: warm weather, beautiful scenery and even take part in the fun community activities. Why You Should Bike the Natchez Trace Parkway

The Natchez Trace Parkway offers an easy-going, easy-to-love experience. The National Park Service has designated the entire 444 miles as a bicycle route, and with light automotive traffic— commercial traffic prohibited—slow speeds (only 50 miles per hour) and no stop signs or intersections, bikers can relax and enjoy an exceptionally scenic roadway, unspoiled by commercial signage or development, and offering up gorgeous vistas at every turn, from forests to farmlands to rivers and lakes.

Natchez Trace Parkway: Safer for Cyclists

The Natchez Trace Parkway between Natchez, MS and Nashville, TN is beautiful route for bicyclists. The Parkway offers a great experience for cyclists to enjoy their biking journey. Due to the fact that the road is shared by cyclists and vehicles, the National Park Service and Adventure Cycling Association are studying ways to make the route safer.
