Celebrate National Park Week, April 18-26, 2015 on the historic Natchez Trace Parkway!

The Natchez Trace Parkway is one of the best cycling routes! The Natchez Trace Century Ride, starting and ending in Ridgeland, MS, provides an experience for riders of all ages and abilities.

The Natchez Trace Parkway staff is hoping to make this year the best yet on this beautiful scenic 444-mile byway! To help them do just that, they’re inviting the community to share input on Parkway educational programming, community outreach and education, and informational publications.

The Natchez Trace Compact has endless great things to say about the 444-mile Natchez Trace Parkway: its stunning beauty, historic past, fun recreational activities, interesting attractions… let’s not forget the community events, delicious restaurants and comfortable lodging along the way. But these opportunities wouldn’t be made possible without the help from volunteers to keep this National Park Site preserved and beautiful.

The National Park Service is gearing up to celebrate one hundred years of service in preserving America’s natural and historical treasures. While the official Centennial date, August 25, 2016, is pretty far off, the celebration is already starting on the Natchez Trace Parkway!

It’s Christmastime along the Natchez Trace Parkway! Eighteen beautiful communities dot the 444-mile scenic byway, and there are plenty of exciting holiday events for one and all.

The terrain along the Natchez Trace Parkway changes from 70 to 1,100 feet in elevation and passes through 5 degrees of latitude. It is one of the most beautiful drives for viewing fall foliage, and we can prove it. Actually, our travelers can prove it…
