TUPELO, MS – The Natchez Trace Parkway invites children and their families to “Mississippi Reptiles,” a Junior Ranger program to be held at the Parkway Visitor Center on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 10 am. Do you know the difference between a crocodile and an American alligator? Join Conservation Educator Deb Davis from the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, for this 45-minute live animal program to discover the answer to this and other interesting questions about reptiles in our backyard.
Junior Ranger is a 45-minute program that is most appropriate for children seven to 12 years old, but everyone is welcome. Participants will be able to talk with a park ranger and join in a fun hands-on activity or craft. Junior Ranger features various topics on the third Saturday of the month.
