The Natchez Trace Parkway will host a BioBlitz and Wildlife Festival at the Parkway Visitor Center on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm.

Natchez Trace Parkway Ranger Receives the Southeast Region’s First Chief Ranger Excellence Award
Natchez Trace Parkway Chief Ranger Sarah Davis has received the Southeast Region’s first award to recognize performance excellence among chief rangers. The Southeast Region encompasses about 66 parks that range in size from large national parks to smaller historic sites.

During February 2016, the Natchez Trace Parkway experienced an increase in the number of recreational visits over the 2015 figures. This year, 435,680 visitors used the Parkway during February 2016 compared to 414,844 who were counted in 2015.
The Natchez Trace Parkway Presents Traditional Music by the North Mississippi Dulcimer Association
A special program of dulcimer music will be provided by the North Mississippi Dulcimer Association from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Parkway Visitor Center located at milepost 266 near Tupelo, Mississippi.
