Increased Bicycling Activity
The Natchez Trace Parkway will host a special event on Saturday, June 2. Approximately 400 bicyclists will ride in both directions along the Parkway from the Ross R. Barnett Reservoir Overlook to as far north as Highway 43.
Garrison Creek Equestrian Access Closure
All trails at the Garrison Creek trailhead (milepost 427) will be closed to equestrian use on June 2, 2018, due to a public event commemorating the 50th anniversary of the National Trails System Act that is being held at the site.
