E and T Bar-B-Que is a little out of the way if you’re staying downtown, and most locals order “to go” since there aren’t many tables in the restaurant. There is always argument between locals as to who serves up the best burger in town, and E and T’s “Big Agnes” is high on a lot of folks list. E and T’s ribs, chicken and catfish are hard to beat too; it’s been said that the meat just about falls off the bone their ribs are so tender, and the sides dishes of potato salad and cole slaw add a nice compliment to any order.
The restaurant is located in the Tracetown Shopping Center at the Highway 61-84 intersection across from Natchez Regional Medical Center, and you’ll have to wind your way all the way into the back corner to find it; but it will be worth the search.
