The Natchez Trace Compact is excited to giveaway a new iPad 2 to one of our Facebook fan. On March 6, 2012 we’re launching a photo contest on Facebook and YOU can enter for a chance to win!

The Natchez Trace Compact is excited to giveaway a new iPad 2 to one of our Facebook fans. On March 6, 2012 we’re launching a photo contest and YOU can enter for a chance to win!

We love seeing photos and hearing stories from our fans — that’s why we’re holding a contest named “Show Us Your Face along the Natchez Trace.” We’re asking participants to upload a photo of themselves, with family, friends or even a pet along the Natchez Trace Parkway. It can be any spot along the Parkway or a old or new photo. Use your imagination! Give your photo a title — think about where it was taken, with whom or any memories or stories. Have fun with it!

Here’s how to enter: March 6 – April 5

1. Go to facebook.com/TheNatchezTrace and “like” us

2. Click the “Show Us Your Face along the Natchez Trace” tab to the left

3. Allow the app, then upload your photo and write a sentence or two about your entry.

You have until April 5, 2012 at 5:00pm to enter your photo. On April 5 at 5:01pm, voting will begin. This is the fun part!

Here’s how voting works: April 5 – April 17

1. On the “Show Us Your Face along the Natchez Trace” Facebook tab, click on the photo you want to vote for.

2. Click “like” below the entry to cast your vote.

Any Facebook fan can vote on an entry (you can vote for multiple entries, but only one vote per entry.) All the votes will be tallied on April 17 at 5:00pm. The entry with the MOST votes will win an iPad 2, courtesy of the Natchez Trace Compact.

Tips to bring in votes:

  • Click “share” below your entry to share it with your Facebook friends and spread the word. This will post to your wall and will take friends directly to your entry for easy voting.
  • Send friends and family personal e-mails and Facebook messages linking to your entry.
  • Send text messages reminding your friends and family to vote. Unfortunately, Facebook applications aren’t compatible with SmartPhones. All voting and entering must take place on a computer or laptop.
