Recently named a Bike Friendly Community by the League of American Cyclists, Ridgeland’s multi-use path is a perfect setting for bikers and walkers alike. The almost 7 mile scenic trail travels among wildlife and abundant foliage near Harbor Drive to Rice Road to Highland Colony Parkway near the Natchez Trace Parkway. Several side trails bring users of the path to schools, shops and businesses. Due to Ridgeland’s progressive spirit, the trail is being expanded, and it has brought national recognition to the town as Ridgeland is one of only 144 cities across the Unites States to hold this honor.
