Located on a high ridge in Middle Tennessee, Amber Falls Winery & Cellars goes full-tilt Cajun each year with its popular Cajunfest celebration that draws wine, food and music lovers from more than a dozen states. This year’s event on Saturday, May 24 features the renowned Grammy Award-winning band BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet, which Garrison Keillor calls “the best Cajun band in the world.”
Cajunfest serves up great music, award-winning wines and authentic Cajun cuisine, such as spicy boiled crawfish, boudin, jambalaya and alligator, while it raises money for the Boys & Girls Club of Maury County. The family-friendly event, which offers a day of food, fun and music from noon until 8 p.m., provides such games as Crawfish Races along with cooking demonstrations and more. Amber Falls is located about an hour south of Nashville at 794 Ridgetop Road in Hampshire, TN.
Gate admission is $15. Food tickets may be purchased separately on-site or as part of a package if purchased in advance. To buy advance tickets or obtain other information, visit www.amberfallswinery.com or call (931) 285-0088.
