TUPELO, MS: A traveler advisory is in effect for the Natchez Trace Parkway from mile post 100 at Jackson, MS south to mile post 0 at Natchez, MS. The National Weather Service in Jackson, MS has issued a winter weather advisory for accumulating snow and sleet; which is in effect until 5:00 PM this afternoon.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution when driving on the Parkway during the time period shown due to the possibility of icing, especially on bridges. All visitors should be vigilant and continue to monitor the radio for further guidance.
