As a result of winter weather conditions, the Natchez Trace Parkway has issued a travelers advisory for sections of the Parkway in Adams County in Mississippi.
The Parkway is experiencing icing conditions from the southern terminus at milepost 0 to approximately milepost 10. This will affect the on-ramps at Liberty Road and MS 61. The bridges in this area are icy and considered hazardous, and travelers are strongly advised not to use the Parkway in this area.
Lower temperatures are forecasted with continued icy conditions which could affect the Parkway. Therefore, further advisories may be posted.
