A special program on Female Firefighters in the National Park Service will be provided at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday March 6, 2010, at the Parkway Visitor Center located at milepost 266 near Tupelo, Mississippi.

Join a National Park Ranger to learn how she helps to prevent and put out wildfires. Try on authentic fire fighting clothing, try your hand at using several different fire fighting tools and have your picture taken as a fire fighter!
